Description

You asked we listened!

The CRKT Pilar has been a firm favourite ever since it was launched and as soon as we saw it our thoughts immediately turned to how great it would be as a non-locking, UK friendly carry knife with, of course, the Heinnie® red G10 scales.

Fast forward to the present and here it is - the CRKT Pilar Heinnie Haynes® UK Edition! All the same features remain that made it such a popular knife in the first place; thick Wharncliff blade, generous thumb hole for opening, low carry pocket clip, perfect size for everyday use and exceptional Voxnaes design. This version is a non-locking slipjoint knife. It's extremely sharp, out of the box, with the red being a vibrant, bright red, perfectly offset with the shiny satin of the blade and metal hardware.

CRKT Pilar folding knife (UK Legal)

Posted by Tony on 19th Oct 2023

This is a very well made knife for a reasonable price. It is very substantial in the hand and the blade is wide, controllable and very sharp, right out of the box. It can be opened one handed, but needs a bit of practice! Be careful. Great quality and a must have.

CRKT Pilar Heinnie Haynes® UK Edition

Posted by Keith on 19th Oct 2023

this is the second heinnie red handle knife i have bought the first being the solis both for work mainly cutting cardboard and slicing straps off boxes, the solis is winning on edge retention however i can get the pilar sharp again with very little effort the choil can catch on straps the blade is more cleaver like than wharncliffe it's good at chopping small veg and herbs also surprisingly good at carving chunks out of a dry piece of apple branch solis is better at work for me but i could manage with this too

    CRKT Pilar HH edition.

Solid little folding slip joint with chunky wedge of a blade. Requires care to operate as forefinger sits close to cutting edge on the choil. Great design, good stuff HH.

Its great but a couple of issues. It folds on your fingers to often and the finger choil on the underside is sharp and cuts me (manycuts so far), ive radiused it. love it for EDC its a good brut force knife for me, needs a little work to be perfect

    My new favourite knife

Posted by Mothy on 21st Aug 2021

For context, I grew up with mostly Swiss Army Knives and only recently started dabbling with other pocket knives - oh boy have I been missing out? I absolutely love this knife. Very sharp, super quality, easy one handed opening, small but very comfortable in my hand. Very ergonomic - with finger in choil and thumb on blade I feel so much control. Sorry Switzerland - I'm going to be spending more of my money elsewhere.

    Excellent edc

Posted by David Thomas on 20th Aug 2021

Razor sharp out the box, well constructed, like a few of the edcs I've purchased from the site, I use this at work for opening boxes, cutting straps on pallets..etc, & it's a perfect little number for the job. Not that HH can say either way, but I do know a few of my colleagues have also made the purchase of this knife, as it's a fantastic piece of kit for warehouse work. The service from HH was spot on as well, as any customer of HH can confirm.

    CRKT Piler HH

Posted by Shels McGuire on 9th Aug 2021

Such a great little knife. Im pleased i chose this after looking at a number if others. Having arthritic hands finding suitable tools is really difficult at times but the piler is great the handle is thick enough to grip safely and getting blade folded out and back again was easy as well not too loose but at same time not to stiff to close up id def recommend this especially for entry level
