crkt Pilar Heinnie Haynes UK edition
I've wanted an EDC knife for a while, and finally chose the Pilar because of it's G10 scales and finger choil safety, very happy that I did, amazing value for money.

The CRKT Pilar has been a firm favourite ever since it was launched and as soon as we saw it our thoughts immediately turned to how great it would be as a non-locking, UK friendly carry knife with, of course, the Heinnie® red G10 scales.
Fast forward to the present and here it is - the CRKT Pilar Heinnie Haynes® UK Edition! All the same features remain that made it such a popular knife in the first place; thick Wharncliff blade, generous thumb hole for opening, low carry pocket clip, perfect size for everyday use and exceptional Voxnaes design. This version is a non-locking slipjoint knife. It's extremely sharp, out of the box, with the red being a vibrant, bright red, perfectly offset with the shiny satin of the blade and metal hardware.

Really nice UK legal carry penknife, very useful shape for the jobs I do everyday and well built - would have preferred a tip up on the carry clip (or option) like the locking one I own, so knocking a star off for that reason only
A lovely, solid UK legal EDC knife, extremely sharp straight out of box and usual excellent HH service, well done team. My only gripe which prevents me giving it five stars is the pocket clip is not reversible so you have to carry point down. I prefer to be able to change the clip over and carry point up. However really solid EDC Pocket Knife, I haven't tried this yet but I reckon this knife would take batoning through a piece of wood. Obviously not a huge tree branch, but that spine would take some batoning.
Overall really good knife
What a beauty, feels great in the hand nice solid click as the blade opens. This is going to be my EDC from now on. Ordered at 15.38 Wednesday afternoon with me next day before 11.00 am what a service nice one HH. Oh yes and shaving sharp out the box , taking hair of the back of my hand. Brilliant HH..
Absolutely beautiful and practical knife, like any tool practice with it and it becomes an extension of yourself. Ready when you are wherever you are for all your edc and survival needs. 100%. I do not leave the house without out.
For me, this is an almost perfect UK legal knife. The action is what brings me the most joy- you can spidey flick this knife, and the double detent slipjoint system makes it so satisfying. The blade cake sharp, and the quality over all is solid. The only two things I’d change is make the scales black (sorry HH, I know red is your colour, but it’s so bright !) and make the blade a bit longer to make use of the full 3 inches us brits are allowed to carry. On certain tasks, I’ve elected to carry the UKPK because it has a bit more length. Over than that, I love this knife. 5 stars, and well well worth the money
I’m actually pretty impressed with this little folder. The blade’s top edge is stout, overall a lovely shaped blade and very useable. I do love the red G10 scales on the HH editions, usual CRKT quality & super fast delivery. If you’re looking for a smart, UK carry blade; pay attention to this one.
Wasn't sure from images on the Web, but hell yes this feels so well built in the hand. I was going to keep it for display but it is now being used for fishing and everyday tasks. The red is a love it or hate it, I love it.
