    Great for the novice

    When I first saw this, I had my doubts, it was smaller than expected, and as a novice at sharpening, wondered if this was going to work. I could not have been more wrong! I started with a completely dull, old knife I was ready to throw away, following the simple instructions, got it to razor sharp in less than 10 minutes, then continued to touch up all my knives that required it, some just a quick pass on the ceramic rods and leather strop, all my knives now cut better than ever, cant recommend enough, especially for beginners!

    I'm very impressed with this sharpener it gets my knives razor sharp and it's pocket size great for in the field. Great service from HH as usual.

    No Gimmick

    When I first saw this I did wonder if it was a bit gimmicky, so I looked for independent reviews on the net, on the strength of what I read I decided to buy one. Couldn't be more impressed for the money, the fact that it is compact enough to just chuck in your kit bag and have access to almost any form of sharpening on the go makes this a must have bit of kit, the fact that the diamond plates are held on by magnets and can be detached in about a second make this very versatile, recommended!!

    Great kit sized sharpening system. Two things you can do to make it a little better IMO. 1) Load strop with a fine cutting/polishing compound 2) The Fallkniven DC4 attaches perfectly to the magnets using the diamond side! Great if you want a ceramic stone too
