I got this as something to take out in the field and keep in the truck. I normally use Waterstones at home, I tried it on one of the kitchen knives as a test, it did a great job with way fewer strokes than I would have needed on the waterstone. Just sharpened my Helle Harding knife with it and it's shaving sharp with very little effort. I'm really impressed with it, I might buy the big version to keep at home now.. this really is excellent value for money.

I received this sharpener as a gift, don't know where it was purchased, sorry HH. Compact, yet robust. Follow the instructions and you get a very sharp edge every time. I have used it on folding and fixed blades of any size and steel composition and always achieved the desired result within a few minutes. I cannot emphasized enough how good this sharpener is at this price range.
Totally capable little sharpener. Small enough for a B.O.B. yet big enough to sort out a 10inch blade. Has everything you need, in one sharpener and for the price you could have one for your Kit bag and one at home as well. HH service was top notch as usual too.

Really guys, buy this thing before you spend money on anything else on sharpening indoor/outdoor. This tool will sharpen about everything in such an amazing short time and quality of sharpening that will outperform about any sharpener even the most expensive ones!!!!!!!! There will be very few sharpening problems that cannot be handled with this one. Don't believe me? Go to YouTube and see all the reviews on this and get convinced. You really do yourself short if you don't buy this one. Ohh..........I don't have shares or other connections to this company. Sometimes you run into something that's the real thing.
