snug as a bug ( no camel spiders aloud)

Posted by matt on 4th Feb 2013

HH sent me one of these out when I was in Afghan in the wet season and I slept out in the desert 6 out of 7 nights.
It worked well but the dust hindered the seams, had enough room for me an ipod and a rifle.
The holes where the pegs go came off straight away too but was easily fixed with some green tape.

That was a few years ago now and I'm still using it now, so I guess it can't be bad.

    Good 1-man Lightweight

This is really a bivy-bag+ with just enough room for you and your sleeping bag. Your head is covered from rain (it's waterproof head to toe) but with bug-proof venting. It has no vestibule so your ruck and boots are outside. This trades comfort for small pack size and light weight. So brilliant if you're solo and on foot, but austere otherwise.
