Great product! Don't know how to say how useful and strong the the knife is ID approval wouldn't register but customer service helped and got the issue resolved instantly

Well made blade. Excellent handle and very sharp. . Only criticism is the the base of the blade was metal worked slightly out. Hence not 5 Stars. But excellent value for money

Decent size, but not sharp

Whilst I would be perfectly happy to review this latest order from HH, being as it is a LARGE Bowie in reasonably robust steel should I decide to use it (rather than simply displaying it in all its mighty magnificence, as is planned) - But… …And there is ALWAYS a big “But”… In this case, the simple problem is that the Bowie has not arrived yet - so an accurate review / or any form of review request. Is rather premature… Perhaps those in the upper echelons of the HH empire might do better if they ensure orders arrive on time, rather than requesting reviews…?

1st class knife top quality superb value for money

As a young man I worked full time using bowie knives at work iin a slaughter gang working on peacetime , so speed was the necessity. I watched other men at work and noticed that every few minutes they would stop to sharpen their knives on a steel . They would use an assortment of finely ground down knives very light with thin blades. I decided to go and buy a 9 inch bowie bullalo hunters knife . It was the best decision I could have made. After a while other slaughter guys asked I I could obtain the same type of knife for them which I did. I have worked on thousands of cattle , pigs sheep etc.in a couple of days over a number of years . You will not find a better knife to use for the job than a good bowie knife. .you don't have to keep Sharpening them and the weight of the blade does the work for you . I once saw a colleague cut a large pig clean in half with a six inch bowie knife I obtained for him. He cut it clean down the middle of it's backbone with little effort . I bought a 11 inch stag rough rider bowie from this firm and I would not swap it for a bowie which retails for 3 times the price. This knife for the price is unbelievable and up there with the best. I love the design. In the last week I have bought four 11inch bowies a 12 inch bowie 4 of which are Rough Ryders . I know my knives as I earnt a living with them and you want beat a bowie in my book. I love my bowie knives , little wondervthe old Buffalo hunters used them . They have so many uses it is unbelievable. ....those are the facts of the matter.
