Prandi German type 600g Hatchet
Excellent shape for general work, especially limbing, processing overgrown coppice and preparing reasonable sized kindling. Arrived with a rough edge of sorts which sharpened up easily. The leather cover (£20) is a very tight fit when new, but I expect it will stretch with use and be easier to put on. I keep the axe in a tool bag which I take to the woods for working, so it needs to be covered, Handle is a bit thick for anything but large hands, so it can be safely thinned to make it more comfortable. In short an excellent value for money, good looking hatchet that needs a bit of work to make it right for you
