Prandi Hatchet "German Type" 600g 18

This was bought as a 50th birthday present for a friend, so not for me to use. I can say that it arrived very quickly (as always from Heinnie) and a quick check showed it was sharp 'out of the box'. The leather sheath is very sturdy and the weight of the hatchet feels perfect. It's nicely finished and looks really well made. I'm very happy with my order. Haven't given it to my friend yet, but I think he'll be pleased as well.

It’s a good compact size, sharp edge and a well made leather cover for the sharp edge. The hickory handle feels great in hand and you don’t notice the weight when you carry it in your day sack really good hatchet!!

Sharp, nice weight with a good riveted leather blade cover and lanyard. Nicely grained hickory handle of good shape, all for a good price and excellent delivery as usual from HH, so what's not to like.

Got this axe a week a go and very pleased with the product. Handle made of hickory is very grippy and head is razor sharp. Sheath came even better than I expected. Amazing product and delivery from Heinnie

Perfect grain orientation! Great finish on axe head and sharp from the box. Also easy to sharpen and tales a great edge. Comes with a good quality sheath.

Unfortunately the axe that you will get looks nothing like the axe that is advertised. The mask is cheap plastic with a piece of elastic to hold it on, there isn't a lanyard as there is in the pictures, and there isn't really an edge to speak of. But, it does appear to be well made and I will enjoy getting the edge to how I want it. As usual, delivery was supersonic.

this axe is up there with the swedish axes for half the price top quality ideal weight cant fault it.
