Buy it and don't look back!
Just right size to be unobtrusive yet pack everything in, if you need to add a water bottle just get a separate belt mounted/MOLLE one and add it when needed, ditch it when you don't (ie when you have a hydration bladder). You can also move it around on the belt if you want it on the opposite side etc. Even when you have backpack, keep your go to items in to hand in the thermite versipack; sunnies (Inc case), hand sanitizer, binoculars/or camera, insect repellent, sun cream, wet wipes, passport, mobile phone, wallet, keys, snacks, knife, pen, lighter, torch etc etc. All fit in with super quick access and can't be pick pocketed and won't fall out when sitting or lying. Twist it to the top of your thigh rather than at the side when your sitting and you still have easy access when in a vehicle (when your day pack is normally separated from you) and it's discrete enough not to be an inconvenience.
