Outstanding piece of kit. Recommended.
Big for a bumbag though quite a fine-looking piece of kit thanks to the typical Maxpedition over-engineering and non-destructibility. Can get quite a lot into this and it'll still conform' to body shape to be relatively low-profile. Wearing tip 1: depends upon situation but I like to spin mine round sometimes and wear it as a (rear) waistpack meaning you can bend forward and crouch down without encumbrance. Wearing tip 2: the adjusters near the fastening buckle do work loose as you walk/run etc., so leave them at their full extension and make your size adjustment at the fixing buckles next to the waistpack “ hey presto they never move! Now for the critical aspect: I said earlier about relatively low-profile, the small pouch on the front can contain quite a lot and so does protrude more than it should if a low-profile approach is required “ my solution is simple, cut the thing off. It does come away cleanly and leaves the three elastic loops in place, still useable. Also the price is high for a bum-bag, even if built to armoured standards and with Rolls-Royce quality “ though having said that I love mine and wouldn't be without it. By the way “ as a rear waistpack it's ideal for motor-cycling use. And one last good point, you can add small pouches onto the strap and so expand carrying capacity without compromising a low-profile. A 10 out of 10 rating. Would I buy another? Yes, without question. Would I recommend one? Most definitely. And as usual received the superb Hennie service, bought on day one delivered on day two.
