Maxpedition C.M.C. Wallet

I've used this daily for 3 months now, so feel I've had it long enough and used it enough to write a meaningful review. 10/10 for being a mid-sized wallet, capable of containing a surprising amount, well made, and robust up to the highest of Maxpedition's standards. If you don't fill it to bursting point it has a discreet low-profile when in your pocket, so another 10/10. The three elastic sections are of debatable use, I only use one, so feel a slot or pocket instead would be of more practical to use to the majority of users, so 6/10 for this aspect. The bellows pocket on the rear is zip fastened, but this does tend to self-open a little, so if you use it a coin pocket - beware! It only opens a wee bit, so not a major issue, though only warrants a 8/10 here. Three dedicated card slots (plus two other 'all purpose' slots) which store them in a horizontal way, so they don't when the wallet is opened (as the wallet opens/closes in a vertical way), so 10/10 for security. It is not a minimalist wallet, nor a mega wallet (thinking of the Kriega stash wallet here), but of a practical size with suitable storage abilities for me and my daily needs. Recommended? Oh yes. Plus comes with the usual impeccable service from H Haynes with very quick delivery speed.

I owned this wallet for 7 years and in that time it has been in rucksacks , bags, pockets and been treated very roughly with no ill effect. Its as toigh as anything! I love the design , it carries my cash , cards , and even my victorinex credit card tool box thing. I don’t have a bad thing to say about it. The only reason i bought a new one was simply because after 7 years I thought id try the kaki colour as my previous one was black… which i still have in a drawer!

I really like Mexpedition. I have one of their pouches for work and It stuff and this wallet is ideal for travel. Well made. This was also in the Sale!

This wallet will last a lifetime. Really heavy duty and has more compartments than you might need. Highly recommend this wallet to whoever is looking for something tough and versatile.

Having searched high a low over the past few years to find a minimal and slim wallet, I realised the grass isn't greener on the other side! This wallet from Maxpedition is simply great! Pros: Lots of card slots. Multiple coin pouches Split cash section if you want to keep denominations separate. Strong Velcro and threading throughout. Unobtrusive in the pocket despite its size. Cards are slid in horizontally, preventing them from slipping out when the wallet is closed. Cons: Note the exterior coin pouch has a bellow on one side to of course allow room to expand for coins. But this sometimes compromises the security of the zip. Not a deal breaker but just something I picked up on. Overall a superb offering from Maxpedition and terrific service from HH as usual.

Most of the features of the CMC wallet are well thought out, and the build quality is excellent. I like the sturdy and roomy outside coin pocket, and the broad velcro strip to secure the wallet shut. The card slots are also useful and pretty easy to access. However, I'm not a great fan of the three small slots for SD cards etc. and don't really use them. An additional slot for cards, with a clear plastic window, would be more use to me. Having said this, it's still a very nice product and one I suspect I'll be using for many years.

This is my best wallet. I find myself saying this kind of statement every time I get something new Maxpedition or 5.11. However, it is always true. This wallet fits my cards, card-sized tools, some keys in the internal zip to get them off my keyring since they are rarely used but needed. It has two areas for paper (or soon to be polymer_ note money. I find the two paper money areas useful so that I can go to the shop and keep change in a separate area that is secure internally without needing to use the internal zip. Really great wallet.
