The reason I like this, aside from the fact that it is a Maxpedition product, is the fact that you can keep your essential cards, paper money and even photo ID in this wallet. But not only that, you can also put coins in it, since it securely closes with the hook and loop (velcro) flap on the front. Any wallet I buy must be able to take coins. Highly recommended.
Upgrading from the Micro. I don't carry too many cards no more than 5 plus 2 ID's. I need something that would carry coins. It's great the velcro strap is very solid and doesn't let any of the coins fall out. Great build from Maxpedition. Excellent service from Heinnie.
I keep it pretty slim and don't think the Micro is much smaller. 1 disadvantage is that it doesn't have a place 4 coins, but I use the small pocket on the front for this and reassure U that the coins don't fall out due to the tight velcro keepin the wallet shut. No matter what they say, the wallet is NOT waterproof. I kept it in water for 1 minute and everything inside got soaked. It's not huge as the Spartan but more functional & secure, in the same time not much bigger, than the micro.
