Ka-Bar USMC Fixed Blade 18

I am a proud customer of HH. I firstly purchased the serrated version and was so impressed that I then purchased the plain version. The steel is brilliant, 1095 cro van, great solid steel that is pretty much unbreakable. A fine collector knife also. I have been using the serrated version non stop, ok the black coating will fade but the knife is very workable. Now I know why the US Marines adopted the KA Bar as their official knife. Ka Bar is Marine tested and marine proven. With the great delivery service from Heinnie Haynes, this is a must buy.

This design was my first buy now 15 years and over 400 blades later it still remains my favorite blade for its performance and build quality, Ka-Bar produce superb quality blades at great prices and they out perform many of the more expensive brands that I will not name but does not take much research. Buy one you will not regret it.

Reviewed this knife in 2008 and apart from a bit of wear it is still going strong , a great hard working knife.

Completely amazing! Feels so good in the hand, blade came SO sharp. Super strong design and you can see why the Americans have used it for years. Only wish is that Heinnie would sell the short versions of these fighting knives as well.

This knife is so awesome, it is definitely worth the money. It feels great to hold and is literally HUGE! Also the sheath that you receive with it is awesome. Overall the knife is high quality. YEAHHH!

A real piece of craftsmanship, especially if you use it for outdoor tasks e.g.-survival courses. In an outdoor environment, don't leave home without one.

I had my last Ka-bar utility for 47 years, it had the wooden handle, as opposed to leather stack. It travelled worldwide with me, including malaysia and south arabia, i gave it to a collector friend of mine, I am happy with my replacement,ordered 4.30pm yesterday,received today,lunchtime! Amazing service, many thanks.

A superb all-round utility blade,supplied with a decent edge and a very robust sheath.It is beautifully balanced. As ever Heinnie's service was slick and quick.

I love this classic bit of kit. It feels perfectly balanced in the hand, and the stacked leather handle/grip is a work of art. Entirely functional. Some leather conditioner on the sheath has made the ensemble ideal.
