I have 8 other "Ka-Bar" knives(and am very happy with all of them), but have never had the "Original" model before. Mine was certainly razor sharp out of the box, top quality through and through. Very prompt service from Linda as always.
Finally caved in to purchasing this knife, after umming and ahhing for ages I finally got round to purchasing the famous tool. Lovely knife, looks great, well made, feels indestructable in the hand. Can't say more really, if you're looking at getting one, you already know all about it.
The Ka-bar USMC Utility Knife is an amazing piece of kit. The stacked leather handle is extremly comfortable. The solid butt-cap makes it slightly handle heavy. The pinned tang makes for a very sturdy construction. The guard is strong - no wobble. The blade is light, but has a reassuring thickness. It will need a bit of work with a stone, to achieve razor-sharpness. The defintion fo value for money!!!
Well made and comfortable knife, easily sharpenable to a razor edge. Perfect for camp or survival uses. Classy looking as well!
