This knife looks pretty good in the pictures it lopes even better in person it's got a great feeling in your hand with good grip. Pretty sharp out the box not the sharpest but still good. A lovely all round knife defiantly a must have for knife collectors

Got one of these as a present from my brother across the pond. What can i say that has not already been said, of all my knives if i had to take just one knife out with me then this would be it, without any hesitation. Very patient and helpful customer service (kept changing my mind ). and still sorted the order which was delivered on time. Have put off buying one of these for ages.; thought it was expensive!! Mistake! Most of its assets have already been discussed ; it is a well made lovely looking knife with a good sheath (with a drain hole! )to use or for a collector. Sharp OTB ,good in the hand.and not too heavy,and worth the cost. I have the serrated version and look forward to using it in the garden for lighter tasks, ( not too light)alongside my hefty nowill knife.

I bought this knife from HH about 5 years now and it has become my main knife for cleaning up venison. The carbon steel blade does NOT disappoint in terms of quality of construction or ease of use. The partially serrated blade is very usefull and easily seperates sinew from tissue and bone and cuts steak with the gratest of ease. But that is what this blade was designed for (just not a four legged animal in mind). It holds an edge really well andcan be shapened with just a few strokes of a diamond rod etc. I have even thrownit in the dishwasher a few times toclean it up with good results. Yes arbon steel is prone to rust but the blade coating helps tremendously with preventing that. I have also used thisknife while beach combing for cutting rope and net plastic strapping etc and it does what it is supposed to with minimal fuss. I havent used it for battoning wood but then I havent needed to batton wood with it. If I lost it I'd get annother.
