Our next Heinnie Limited Edition is here and it's a cracker! In it's previous incarnation the Lucas Burnley designed Squid was massively popular. A compact folder with a tactical feel and a solid, stainless construction, the frame locking Squid flew off the shelves.
Now with the Heinnie treatment, we've made a non-locking version, and it is going to be one of the most significant additions to your collection for years!
The Heinnie red handle is the most noticeable difference... this is your guarantee that it is okay, according to UK law, to carry the knife in your pocket or pack. Made from G10 the handle is tough and fills the hand, despite its size, with a pocket clip attached. The blade is crafted from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel and of course it doesn't lock thus falling into the UK carry category. A blade indent means there is slight resistence going from and to the open and closed position.
Whether for your collection or for using this is a superb little folder ready take on the world!

My new EDC knife, great service and cracking little blade
A nice little knife, but any UK legal knife with no lock needs to inspire confidence in the way it clicks into place when opened. This one offers little resistance when opened and shuts far too easily. Being so short, the easy accidental close can quickly trap fingers that are so close to the pivot due to the diminutive size of the scales. I would like to have seen this have a far more positive click into position and a firmer close. For the money though, it's a nice knife and will fill another space amongst my Heinnie specials.
Much smaller than expected, which is okay as a pocket knife. Blade came blunt as hell, and with an uneven blade profile, making it impossible to sharpen without spending hours. In the draw never to be seen again. AVOID
