I should have read the dimensions a second time the blade is a lot smaller than I though, the blade is about the size of a butter knife. I've turned it into a small deer horn bowie.

OK but Very lightweight, especially the guard which is pinned & braized on so not easy to remove. I fitted an old style Bowie handle made from old reclaimed English Oak which I cut across the grain to give a banded effect. Not Too bad but more like a table knife than a Hunter. Could do with a quid knocking off the price.
