The M48 Tac Tomahawk is lightweight and is constructed of precision cast 2CR13 stainless steel. It offers a wide upswept axe blade which gives it a fast chopping edge. The blade is attached to a nylon reinforced handle with 30% fibreglass and with three separate bolts.

Superb Service & Stunning Tomahawk

Heinie again managed to deliver almost instantaneously! Ordered afternoon, arrived first thing the next morning. How do they do it? Superb. A stunning tomahawk - well crafted and with beutiful, purposeful lines. Feels well balanced in the hand and the cutting edge is suitably sharp. Sheath is well made and protects the head well. Poppers are stiff, so should prevent accidental release. Heinie swiftly rectified a slight issue with the first order - their level of customer service is second to none. They really set the benchmark.

Not sharp at all

"Razor-sharp" according to the clamshell packaging! Mine was completely blunt, didn't appear to have been sharpened at all. The only thing 'sharp' about this axe is the packaging itself! Total lack of grip to the handle. Very disappointed.

I bought this excellent tool as a home defence weapon after I received threats from Muslims I had the misfortune to meet in Afghanistan and Iraq. Excellent quality. Highly recommended.

i have had this hawk for a while now , the build quality good & it holds an edge well . all in all it was a good buy & would recomend it to any one happly .

First impressions WOW a whole lot of axe for the money! Well delighted with the fit and finish of the axe, however, the one star lost is down to the sheath! They really should produce Kydex type one for it. That said it is heavy enough to do the job but light enough to carry all day. I cannot say how excellent the service from Heinnie is! Ordered this yesterday at 1pm and it arrived at 12 today on standard delivery, amazing!!!! Thank you H.H team!

I was well pleased with this hawk, love the beak spike on the back and also like the extra grind along the top edge. Didn't come too sharp like the Cold Steel hawks, but sharp enough to do the job it was designed for! Again, fast friendly and efficient service from the guys at Heinnie Haynes.
