The Tomahawk was ordered at 5 yesterday on the dot it was delivered here at my house in Suffolk at 12:30 that is insane !!! Not sure what dark logistical magic you have at you disposal but I like it!! The product itself is a really very nice piece of kit for the money it's a tricky one to beat, light and easy to swing can tackle tasks you would think where to much for it, they aren't, it came razor right out of the packaging, very happy with this product and even happier if possible with HH, customer service at its finest they are one to watch as they grow and diversify.

Sharp, well balanced. Makes light work of small chopping tasks.

Very handy axe/hawk- Balance is excellent and lively in the hand. Glad I went with this longer-handled version, as the leverage makes light work of log splitting and making kindling. Edge was plenty sharp when it arrived and splitting point is very robust- all round excellent, The 'spring' of the polymer handle helped with fatigue while working my way though some birch saplings of arm-thick size. The hole in the blade is useful for putting an index finger or a thumb into for bark stripping or other 'planing' type use. The 'throwing' use I've had a go at for entertainment- yep, it throws nicely and sticks pretty solidly. Misthrows didn't damage handle or blade so that's fine by me as I won't be making a habit of it. I'm no Commanche warrior nor am I every going to be, however! Loses a star as: 1. For reasons best known to SOG, they've polished the black coating from the cutting edge then re-coated it in clear lacquer- so bevel is coated to the cutting edge. Just seems pointless and a waste of time. 2.the sheath belt loop is a tad fragile looking and needed a couple of Grimlocs added to it to be useful to add to my various MOLLE equipped outdoor bags

I have both this and the fast hawk both are excellent although I must say I use my fast hawk more

Wow, so first off thank you Nick. Ordered yesterday LATE afternoon and has arrived today, amazing service. So the tool, out of the box I'm very impressed razor sharp edge cut through branch like a hot knife through butter and practicaly scared the bark off just by looking at it. A few of these reviews say it comes with a different sheath? Mine looks just like one in the picture, email sent so will find out and update accordingly.

As I've said the tool is the dobermans danglies, but after an investigation I found only the Fasthawk comes with better sheath so well done SOG/HH for putting it right - 10/10 one very happy camper.

Got it today, mine came with a different sheath it's the Fasthawk sheath which is better quality than the Sog/Fusion. The hawk is excellent for the price and sterling service from HH as always.
