Steel Eagle - 107E
topsknives.com say the Steel Eagle range were their first designs. For me the 107E is their best model. I prefer a clean blade spine without a saw back or notches etc. I like to "assist" with my spare hand, from time to time. Blade - 7.5" scale to tip. Handle - 5". Stock - 6.5mm. The shallow choil works very well. Choke-up grip is good. The thumb recess has good jimping. It has a wide hand filling handle. Balance point at the ricasso. When you hold the Steel Eagle in your hand, it's like wearing an old pair of slippers. Finally, I think TOPS scabbards are OK, but not perfect. I am very pleased with my purchase.
