Slight disappointment
Before I start i am still getting used to the knife and my opinion may change. I find the blade steel is easy to sharpen and I've quite quickly got a razors edge on it. The thing I am disappointed on however is the handle. I own the squeak so was aware how the FRN would feel , however it feels almost flimsy on the UKPK. Its a real shame because it really does put a downer on the knife. I feel the handle still feels weightier on the squeak and I'm still unsure why the tension bar stops halfway down the handle unlike the squeak that finishes at the end of the knife. This consequently makes the 'lock up' feels a lot less sturdy than the squeak which I was surprised about. However the knife still is up to a decent quality. All in all if you don't need the extra blade length I'd maybe invest in a Spyderco squeak instead. Or if you're willing to spend a little more maybe look and a slip joint at around the £80 price range. All that's said it is however a niche little edc , I don't have any major issues with it and will be keeping it in my edc rotation
