Very impressive blade, built like a tank while still being slim and not over built at all. The lock up is 100% secure, no blade play or lock rock at all. quite a heavy knife with a long handle, best suited for large hands. beautiful smooth action and strong detent, with a lovely hard snap when locked, and very pleasant audible closing action. I can spyderflick this knife open but it isn't easy to do. This knife does not have an amazing fidget factor but there is a little there to play around with, you can spyderdrop the knife open and spyderflick etc, but as its a solid lockback you can't open and close it fast while messing around, so if you want a knife with fast action fidget factor this isn't the knife to choose. But this is the knife to choose if you want a rock solid workhorse that looks very elegant, kind of bordering pocket jewelry terrirory, quite a showy blade, pleasing to the eye, but also built for work use. You may have heard this knife is slippery but I don't find it slippery, it has good jimping on the spine which is very grippy, and the pocket clip indent secures it in the hand very well with good contour edges. Great knife, definately do not regret buying it over the FRN version, it came shaving sharp as well, great fit and finish from the Seki Japan factory.
