A fixed Spydie for this price is a bargain for this quality. super slicey its my new fishing knife, grippy when wet and cleans up lovely afterwards.
The tip is very weak and bends easily.
I own and use a lot of knives falkniven benchmade etc. This is easily one of the most useful at a fraction of the price. Taken it wild camping fishing. Added a dangler to the sheath. Absolutely fantastic for food prep. Beautiful handle, sheath a nice snug fit. Forget the steel snob in you it holds a great edge. Pair it up with a folding saw and a mora great lightweight setup. If you're on the fence just buy it. Amazing next day delivery from Heinnie.
Great value blade,awesome
I have just uploaded review to YouTube of this knife (Spyderco Bow River ) Before and after sharpening. It is a very well sharpened knife from the box . I think most people would be happy with the quality of the knife and sheath and its sharpness. But I like to freehand convex sharpen all my knives so I can carve wood. I have just carved a small spoon with the Bow River which is also uploaded to YT. I must say I really like this Phil Wilson design ....
