Smith’s new “Pocket Pal” Multi-Functional Knife Sharpener features pre-set crossed carbides and ceramic stones, which provide the “Perfect Edge” every time. Carbides provide quick edge setting, and the specially shaped ceramic stones are designed to give you a razor sharp edge on either standard or serrated edges. A fold out, tapered round, diamond coated rod is designed for sharpening serrations and small gut hooks. Unit is compact, lightweight, durable, and comes with a lanyard hole.
Features:
Carbide Blades (COARSE) - Set the edge. The carbide blades provide quick edge setting capability for dull or damaged knives. These blades are designed for use on straight edges only, and are reversible and replaceable.
Ceramic Stones (FINE) - Finish the edge. Ceramic stones provide a smooth, polished edge for already sharp knives and can be used on serrated or standard blades and are reversible and replaceable.

I knew when I opened the packaging that this little tool was for me a great purchase. It is a doddle to use and has lovely build quality. It put the edge back on my Penfold EDC in under 30 seconds. Very portable and does the job. I love it.
Brilliant sharpener, fits in your pocket and works a treat.
Nice little bit of kit slips into pocket or back pack for a quick fix for a blunted blade. Had a cheaper one and can definitely tell the difference worth the extra few quid .

I am one of those people who., however hard they try, can't get a decent edge on a blade. Not any more! The Pocket Pal has put a sensible edge on my Boker + XS and a couple of other knives with almost no effort at all I'm sure they could be better, but they will cut paper, which is good enough for me. Just received this in the post, tried it out & it works well Just right for carrying in your pocket. Very pleased.
No ordinary knife owner nut would admit to being useless at sharpening a knife.....its not at all manly. But then again....I'm not normal. I am useless at sharpening knives !!! But now things have changed somewhat. This little sharpener has just put an edge on my Fox Knives 'my one'. I have been trying to do that ever since I bought it and I have failed miserably. One minutes work, and this sharpener has made the knife useable again after such a long time. Its cheap, and I'm sure there are a lot better if you are willing to pay.....but this pocket pal has made me very happy. As usual.....super fast HH service....for which I thank them once again. Think I will buy another to keep in my work bag. :-)
