The best way to maintain and keep the edge on your Samura collection The Samura Whetstone is available in three grit levels and all are supplied with a rubber stand. The Samura Whetstones contains high-grade materials that will help you to keep your knives in an ideal, always ready condition.

• 400 grit grinder is the one with extremely coarse grain size. It is used to repair the knife when you need to remove a fair amount of metal, restore the geometry of the blade, or even change the thickness of the blade.


• 1000 grit is the most versatile one. It is intended for sharpening, grinding and/or removing traces of peeling operations. Unlike other grinder types, it copes perfectly well even with very hard blades (58 HRC and more).


• 2000 grit is designed for removal of traces of rough operations and rough sharpening of steel knives. It is suitable even for very hard blades with a hardness of 58 HRC or more. All the abrasive grains of this grindstone are completely homogeneous to ensure smooth and high-quality sharpening.
