This Wolverine model packs a full flat-ground blade made from 440 stainless steel, offering decent edge retention with corrosion resistance that won’t grumble at a bit of weather. The satin finish keeps things low-key and functional.

The handle scales are brown burlap Micarta – grippy, tough, and with that slightly mottled look that brings to mind a proper baked potato fresh out the oven. It’s quirky, sure – but it works. Feels great in the hand, even when wet.

    The Rough Ryder Tater Skin Wolverine fixed blade knife is a budget-friendly option with a unique burlap Micarta handle and 440 stainless steel blade. Easy to maintain. What a great EDC, backup knife. Great value, stating it's a solid and functional knife for the price. The fit and finish may be inconsistent, but I've been lucky and always had a good one. Finish and look are excellent. Rugged style and is very sturdy. I'm a big fan. Using it with my camper...sorting the fish and using it as a bit of camping cutlery and utility knife. Nice little nylon and leather sheath. Belt and scout option with loops. Very pleased overall. Heinnie H excellent as always!!
