Another hit from Rough Ryder. Lovely blade finish. Handle has some fit & finish issue's but does not detract from overall quality for the price. Great little knife.

Nice solid knife lovely finish, better than I expected for the price.
Rough around edges but all components there, brass guard spaces and wood a great little buy really for £15
This was a stocking stuffer from my wife. I own 4 other fixed blade RR knives & they are all good value as this Should have been but isn't. The spine & parts of the blade are caked with thick rust. The brass guard has patches of black & green 'verdigris'. There are sticky patches of what seems to be epoxy resin on the handle. The wax/oiled handle is greasy to the touch. The butt end of the scales are covered in grinding burns. The scales are 2 different thicknesses due to poor sanding. The coloured Pakkawood spacers are all different thicknesses on each side of the handle so they don't line up properly. The guard is crooked. These are all things that should have been seen before shipping. Good customer service is Not just about speed - & most of the speed is down to Royal Mail, Not HH. Oh, the Leather sheath is dry & both parts of the press stud are rusty! Having said all this I'm a knifemaker & I Can rectify most of the faults except the spacer alighnment & I Will. The blade is decent @ 4mm. thick & the knife has an attractive profile even if the handle is a bit short. This knife only cost a couple of quid more than similarly sized blanks off this site so it might be just as easy to treat it as a project & remove the scales entirely & make my own handle from scratch. Now I've got my dander up I'm both angry & happy at the same time - Christmas Spirit! But, seriously if this had been a one-off purchase by someone to give as a gift to a first time knife user just imagine the disappointment that would've been caused just 'cos someone at HH couldn't be bothered to open the box before despatching to the customer - Not good enough, is it?
Handle rough edges poor fit worst item I have received from your selves disappointed ! !
This knife represents very good value for money
