Rough Ryder common stockman
In itself the knife is excellent. However, to suggest it is " UK Friendly" should be treated with caution. I noted that the clip point blade had a cutting edge that was 3 inches or less, but, the overall length of that blade exceeded 3 inches. Bearing in mind that the punishment for carrying a knife that exceeds 3 inches are quite severe I decided to do some online research of my own. Of the sites that I visited there seemed to be a debate over what counts as illegal carry knife. A police website however, pointed out that the governments legal statement that the cutting edge must not exceed 3 inches is being interpreted by the courts as the (overall length) must not exceed 3 inches. Whilst I did only do limited research, I have decided that as punishment can be severe I will not carry this knife in a public space but only use it at home. Maybe HH may wish to consider making a note in the relevant knife descriptions about this varying interpretation of the law to safeguard their customers and their reputation?
