    Rough Rider reserve 008

Posted by Chris Bray on 26th Feb 2022

As the owner of many knives this was a very pleasant surprise, the fit and finish is excellent and compares well with other knives of a higher price. The Micarta scales are very nice and transitions are good, D2 blades are fine the grinds are acceptable. Overall a decent knife for the price. I recently purchased the Rough Rider reserve swayback and this was also very nice. If you get one of these I don’t think you will be disappointed.

    Best stockman

Posted by JC on 1st Sep 2021

A solid knife that feels great to hold and use. Sharp out of the box, fantastic half stops, well balanced, nice blade alignment, comfortable scales, no gaps or rough edges, and firm but easy opening, An excellent piece of kit which will live in my pocket.

    A stockman worth owning.

Posted by Barry on 3rd Apr 2021

I've always liked the Stockman pattern. This is meaty, is made from decent materials, has very good fit and finish, no blade rub and a pleasant walk-and-talk. Replacing the spay blade with a screwdriver/pry/bottle opener is a good move too as I rarely need to castrate anyone. If you like the look of it, you're going to like the real thing.

RRReally nice range of classic folders

Posted by Dan on 30th Mar 2021

Only had this for a few hours, but I can tell it's going to be my EDC now. The RRR range is well worth checking out- as much as I've had good experiences with Rough Ryder penknives, the reserve range is that bit better, in terms of materials and build quality. This stockman is lovely, really useful blade shapes, I guess if I were to be really picky, I'd prefer the Clip blade to be of a bit thicker blade stock (more of a bowie blade), but its pretty much perfect, nonetheless....!
