Nice overall fit and finish scales on handle are particularly nice unfortunately the knife has one major flaw the main clip point blade is ludicrously thin I've never come across any pocket knife with a blade so thin ok for display but I suspect I would be easily damaged in daily use
Great little knife very handy.
So disclaimer that I bought this little knife to try out the pattern and it’s not for me, so it tainted my review. Blade is too thin, flexible and has limited uses as a result. The stag bone feels cheap and unfinished and as a result of the blade shape and lack of thickness the play is massive with the blade being bendable under thumb pressure. This knife could have been made by GEC or Case and I still wouldn’t like it. I’m so glad I bought this one as I learned this lesson without the massive price tag of the other two brands. So as a result I’m delighted with this purchase as this is part of the fun of knife collecting. Buy it to try it, can’t go far wrong at this price?
A nice little knife with a decent weight to it . The stag handle scales are a rich dark brown colour and deeply jigged , with a nice little inlaid Rough Rider silver shield , bolsters , and rivets . There are no gaps between the back spring , brass liners , or stag handle scales . The blades were both blunt , so blunt that I could draw them across my throat without fear of cut despite the" razor sharp" etching on the main blade . They both sharpened up ok on my spyderco sharpening system to razor sharp edges as they should have been . The smaller pen blade was not truly straight and had a slight bend along its full length , but closes ok without any blade rub against the liner . Regardless of that , I am pleased with the knife , and it's just a pity about the pen blade bend , otherwise I would have given it 5 stars .
rang nick the other day arrived on the monday fit and finish excellent on the little peanut . excellent service from HH
