Rough Ryder Old Southwest Canoe 18

I have the sowbelly version of this range, and wanted to try the canoe, a really great knife range all metal and coloured resin, well made and finished good springs, pull is good, no gaping, blade's are also good, really nice feel and weight. If you want to carry it in pocket you will want to get a slip case to keep it looking great the green swede one made by fallkniven FH9 POUCH, also sold by heinnie giving a classic look. If you like the look just buy one you'll not be disappointed, for once the look machines the build they are great. Usually great value and service from H&H.

My first canoe knife wanted to try one out. Was drawn to the design and don't regret my purchase. I don't think I'll edc it, I like the versatility of a sak too much but I love looking at this knife it's well made and the design is great

Great all metal feel with a half stop on both blades. Really feels like a cut above the other Rough Rider knives I own, finish is excellent and the blades are perfectly centred.

Excellent value for money, this knife has got to be the nicest looking UK compatible knife on the market - I'm no expert but I know what I like and the build on this is excellent and the materials used seem to be best quality. I have purchased two - one to keep boxed. Says it all really !!

Was recommended this knife by a relative who had purchased one for his wife. The knife is really good value for money - it's extremely well built and sturdy. It looks very smart and I can't decide whether to use it or put it on display. Might have to get another (if still available).

The Caoe is most peoples favourite EDC pocket knife, Rough Rider provide a good quality knife at a fair price. The overal l fit and finish of this knife belie its modest price, I have a couplr of Rough rider caoes that have served really well but are not nearly as fancy as this one. Great for use as an EDC knife or does good duty in your workshop. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I am a big fan of RR and my expectations were high, still I was very impressed with this Canoe. It's up to their usual high standards re sharpness, half stops and great fit and finish with no gaps or faults of any kind. I love the Canoe pattern, especially in the UK, as it's very practical and yet totally non threatening. What I wasn't expecting s the beauty of the decoration and the heft. It is so much heavier than their other Canoes due to the extra metal, so it feels much better in the hand. If you want a small inoffensive knife that is a real looker, then go for this. Five stars. As for HH, I'm pleased that their new website now works 100%. This time I decided to get it delivered to a shop and had no problems whatsoever. In future however I think that I shall stick to a standard Royal Mail delivery as it's actually faster! HH for the win. Thank you.

A very attractive little knife, a good solid back-spring with positive half-stops. It's heavy for it's size because of the scales but not excessively so, love it, and will be getting the rest of the "family"

I'm very impressed with the quality and workmanship of this penknife. A lovely southwestern pattern sets it off wonderfully. It has a good solid weight and feel to it , with no side wobble on the blade when open whatsoever. The movement action also feels solid and smooth. Made from a decent stainless steel as well with attention to detail on the individual components . For the price an excellent product,with a Navajo twist.
