I have bought three pocket knives from HH in the last few weeks, I'm impressed with all three but this one although the cheapest it's the one I am most impressed with, great little knife.

Super quality despite such a low price, perfect small lock knife for everyday tasks I may buy another just in case I lose it as bI'd hate to not have this knife in my pocket.
Just received my blackwood work knife, I bought it because it reminded me of the pocket money knives I used to buy as a kid, well before the 18 year old law came in. Great little knife razor sharp, slight mark on the blade which might worry a collector but it doesn't bother me as it's a work knife .
Bought this for prepping small game when hunting. The blade shape is perfect and I was after something reasonably cheap in case I lost it whilst out. The only problem is the edge retention it takes a good edge for a cheap knife and is very well constructed for the price but it needs constant sharpening as the edge doesn’t stay sharp for long. Excellent service from heinnies as always.
Seems OK at the moment - time will tell. Feels well made.
Excellent for the price.
Bought this as a user knife only to find I had really quite smart locking gentleman's folder. The design is simple but the glossy dark brown wood scales and brass fittings make for a quietly good looking knife. Fit is good with zero blade play, blade was reasonably sharp out of the box. Excellent value for money.
I bought this not expecting much due to the low price, but it’s a very nicely finished solid tool. It is quite elegant to look at, more than just a work knife. It fits well in the hand ,the handle is large enough for a four finger grip & the blade is similar to a Thiers French shape. It was decently sharp out of the box, & sharpened easily to a very good edge on a DC3. Blade centring is good handle scales are attractive & well finished, very similar to ebony, though Blackwood is a pea family legume. Blade lock is positive, side play on joint is minimal. Brass liners, handle scales & lock spring all line up well with no gaps. I have paid more for much worse quality in the past & will definitely buy another Rough Rider knife again, probably another of this model when this one wears out. I get through a pocket knife every two or three years or so at work so have had plenty, I heartily recommend this, if you are undecided get one anyway the cost is minimal & you may well be pleasantly surprised by how nice it is. Cheers Tony
Saw some reviews of this knife and decided to get one as my house knife. An excellent knife for the price, came out of the box ,looks lovely, couldn't be happier
