Rough Rider Barlow Jigged Bone

Nice mid weight 2 blade Barlow pattern,ideal for EDC,great honey coloured jigged scales and quality nickel bolsters and shield.Brass liners set off the springs nicely,quality of fit and finish and blade snap is way higher than the price suggests,I rate this brand well up there with the established USA made pocketknives.

Mark Twain immortalized the Barlow & the style has stood the test of time. If you want one to actually Use then this is the one to go for. At the low price of £14 it is just as well made as all the other RR Barlows here but not quite so 'pretty'. Anyone looking for a practical, usable EDC should always check out RR before splasing out more than they need to. Chinese they may be; well made they are.

Bought this as my new EDC as my old knife has been retired into work service only. Love the look of the rough rider barlows and this has the added bonus of being a really well made little knife. Sharp straight out of the box with no looseness or defects. May be the start of a set with a few finishes available. Top product through and through.

Another winner from RR - again good value, nice looking and a quality product.

Whilst certainly not a 'show' kinfe, I have a real soft spot for this one. The blades have a very satisfying click into position from the backspring and feels very comfy to hold. The finish is good, especially considering the price. The combo of clip and pen blade make it excellent for whittling.

Overall quality is decent. Sharp, no play. Just a little dent on the end of master blade, but that happens. What is more important is that color of the covers may vary significantly. On mine it's pinkish pale, which is really not what I was hoping for.

Purchased as a general edc work knife & though it serves that purpose, my only complaint is the main blade is a little difficult to open. It would have been better if the nail slit was on the other side of the blade, when your hands are cold you have to open the little blade first to get to the main blade. But other than that minor complaint, a very good pocket knife, good looking, very sharp out of the box & the usual excellent service from HH.

unbelievable quality for the money. I know some people have had fit and finish issues on some knives but honestly I have scrutinised this knife closely and I cannot find fault with it. Blade alignment, backspacing spacing , bone covers to bolster fit. The 'walk and talk' , all excellent, blade sharpness slices paper fine. There may be the odd one with an issue ( I have found one in the past) but not with this. Very happy.

Why wouldn't the nail nick be on the other side of the main blade like it is on the canoe? It means you have to open the pen blade to get to the main blade's nail nick. Even my Missus asked why they didn't reverse it.
