"RYO" in Japanese means "good" although this seems like rather an under-statement as far as this design from Rockstead is concerned.
The Higonokami style ZDP189 blade is finished with a convex grind and as with all Rockstead knives the quality of steel is like no other, providing un-paralleled edge retention that will only need sharpening under exceptional circumstances. The stunning mirror-polished blade is locked using a smooth button lock feature.
The most unusual feature of the Rockstead Ryo H ZDP however, is the concealed pocket clip. This retractable clip sits smoothly along the back of the DLC coated titanium handle scales eliminating the uncomfortable feeling that you get with a standard bolt on pocket clip. There is also a discreet lanyard hole tucked almost invisibly into the handle providing functionality without detracting from the aesthetics of the waved handle design.
