Add to BasketI really like this product. I've always carried a few space blankets in case I get benighted on a long distance walk, but this is so much better as it keeps the wind completely out. Pair it up with a foil jacket and maybe a space blanket and you could survive a really nasty night out on the fells in relative comfort. I'd recommend this to anyone doing solo fellwalking, along with a survivajak or two.
Most of the basic little silver sided foil survival 'hypothermia' blankets products, that one sees often in camping and outdoors stores, are rather useless once one gets out in the hills; just simply because they can easily blow away in high winds. Those are better left for use by runners in marathon events! This plastic covered version is an improved product though, making the sheet much more robust in use outdoors. OK kit this one!
