Pentagon Artaxes Soft Shell Jacket Black

Aside from the usual Heinnie Haynes superb customer service, this jacket is by far the best jacket I have purchased. I am a 38" chest and a Medium in everything I buy and this medium size jacket fits me perfectly. I have read some negative comments regarding the lack of side pockets; however, I find the pockets perfectly placed and very generous in size. My only minor 'negative' comment would be why no cuff pocket on the right arm. There is surely a reason for this and I am happy to be educated in this matter(!). I absolutely love this jacket in terms of its fit, style, functionality and performance. And once again, thanks to HH who delivered this within around twenty hours of time of order.

Having only recently received my jacket I have not yet had a chance to give it a try out in the elements & therefore cannot comment on its capabilities . As with most shell jackets it's a comfortable item to wear , my only gripe being that the positioning of the side zip pockets is too high up & makes them awkward as a means of keeping your hands warm , other than that I'm really pleased with the jacket .

I bought this jacket on the advice of a friend. Without doubt this is the best jacket I've ever bought. The quality is first rate. If you want a functional jacket that looks good around town this is the one for you. Hasn't rained yet so I don't know how waterproof it is. Heinnie Haynes customer service is second to none. I ordered it at 2pm on Friday and received it by 11am on Saturday.

First, if you are in the US it will take a bit to get, Second the jacket is AWESOME, however very disappointed in the fact that they sent me a jacket with no velcro on the sleeves, as aparamedic, this was going to be the patch placement. spot.

Really like this. For a fleece it has a decent level of water resistance. I don't know if you'd want to wear it all day in heavy rain but for short duration or light rain it is fantastic. It's even stood up well to sleet showers. Warm and breathable plus has extra zip vents under the arms. I've had mine a couple of years, used it a lot, even in marine environments, and it has survived well. Not showing any signs of wear and stays remarkably clean. My one criticism is that when the hood is packed away it makes the collar really bulky and you can't get the zip all the way up so lets draughts in on windy days. Lots of utility pockets of various sizes. The only thing I don't like is I find the two main pockets too high to use comfortably as hand warmers. OK for maps or a phone but anything else, even a wallet, and you look like you have one giant boob. One of my favourite pieces of kit, I use it all the time.

I have a 40 chest and the small fits great. Pockets are plentiful and well placed. Material comfortable and keeps me warm, the underarm ventilation prevents overheating. Hood a bit tight, would prefer slightly larger, but cut to provide plenty of visibility. HH service amazing as ever ordered 14:00 hrs arrived following day by 13:00 hrs.

I've had this jacket around 6 months now and wear it a lot for the weight it's very warm but light, the pocket locations are great for my job and volunteering as a medic as the wrist pocket is perfect for a emergency gloves etc. Highly recommended

This is a great jacket for cool to cold (with layers) weather. Also fantastic for casual wear. Its exceedingly well designed in terms of pockets, zips and the material used. It is very comfortable and looks the business with morale patch areas and very useful cuff fastenings. Ordered on Monday, arrived lunchtime Tuesday, Impeccably packed and instant dispatch on the part of Heinnies - as always. You guys really do know how to deliver on customer service, I have to say. Overall, this jacket knocks designer labels costing three times as much into next week. Could not be happier. Get one while you can.

Exceptional service as always from Heinnie Haynes. I ordered my jacket at about 15:30, received 1at Class the very next day. The Jacket itself is really well made and looks good on. There are multiple pocket options and all the stitching looks secure. I find it to be a very warm fleece (so far a little too warm for me). It keeps the wind out nicely though have just tested it against storm Brian and it kept me nice and snug. For the money I highly recommend this jacket - it comes across as something that should cost over £100.
