The Opinel No.09 Oak gives the classic French folder a substantial feel, pairing its familiar lines with a handsome handle made from French oak. Hard, durable and naturally rich in tannins, oak brings plenty of character through its warm colour and distinctive grain.
The 90mm blade is made from 12C27M stainless steel, offering good corrosion resistance, straightforward sharpening and dependable everyday cutting performance. At 2.2 mm thick, it remains an excellent slicer for food preparation, picnics, gardening and general outdoor jobs.
