Used for clipping van key to house keys and easily detaching again. Great for being able to unclog, swap and reclip. The resistance on the clips could do with being stronger or having the locking feature added.

Only 3 stars for this item. Very good for organising keys, I have a lot of keys to carry. It's useful in the way that you can bunch keys of importance together on 1 keyring and slip them off quickly when needed. The biggest drawback, like others, it the tension on the spring. Several times now things have slipped off (namely my work door fob) either in my pocket, car or driveway. I'm sure it will only be a matter of time before i lose something permanently. I've seen that Nitize to an S Biner with a lock bar on, so may try that next.
I've got a few of these over time and have now switched all of my key chain gadgets to the locking S-biners. Stuff like my Spyderco Ladybug and Leatherman multi tool for example. As these are costly to replace and the 'locking' S-biners (Don't really lock) but are much more secure. On the whole, I've found them to be ok.
These look great, but have their limitations. Twice now, key rings have slipped out. Just a matter of time before I lose something. Shall be using something else in future.
The retention on the sprung bars is poor.. I lost my Gerber dime because of it and am very unhappy.. glad it wasn't my car keys that got lost, but it easily could have happened
Rather disappointed with this item. The coating is patchy and a bit discoloured even though the item is new. Still works OK.
I bought all 3 & find them very handy. however, they would definitely benefit from being made stronger. The spring clips move sideways too easily. All in all a good design that could be great.
