Handy biners and I hope the locking mechanism will hold well. Time will tell. Apart from that, very happy of these biner (I have the Small and Medium).
Much much better than the aluminium carabiners I've been using for years, they never lasted long the flat spring always goes on them. These however are much stronger and better to use I've made a simple key fob with paracord with one of these and it works a treat package says 10 lbs breaking strain my keys are well under that!!! So I'm expecting a long life, recommended.
I have been using the small one on my keys for a while now. I thread my belt through a sort of chain coupler link thing from DIY shop then clip this to it. Always know where your keys are, the smaller ones are better for important things like car/house keys as the spring tension is stronger than with the larger ones.
Carabiners in my opinion are expensive usually for what you get. But not these! Nite Ize have created a carabiner which is reletively light, strong (rated at 75 pounds for the small one) and helpful. The two carabiner compartments make unclipping the carabiner whilst keeping the contents on a breeze! A better design then normal ones.
You won't go wrong with these things. Very good quality & reasonably priced, with free delivery! Endless uses & hellish handy. I hook the little one on to our lass, to guide her back home from the pub, after she's had one wine 'n soda too many!! Never fails......
