I use my knives for real work not just for bragging rights which is why I use Mora. Every knife i have had from Mora with the exception of the Garberg has been razor sharp from the factory. I usually strop other brand knives but no need with Mora's. the 546 has a smaller width blade than the normal companion knife but is no worse off for it. the handle is solid plastic but grips well and there is more of a pronounced finger guard which gives a sense of security. this is around the same price as a hultafors craftsman knife and (I have both) the Mora is sharper and better ground than the hultafors which is still a good investment for the price. is it as good as a companion? well i must admit i prefer the full width blade and rubberised handles of the companion but the basic can easily do the same job. buy several at this price its sheer madness how Mora makes such a well made product for so little money!
A good quality knife for this price. The handle is a darker blue than the picture but it's still nice. And fast delivery which is always cool.
