Description

Mercury Knives was one of the first cutleries to be founded in Maniago, Italy after the second world war. Italian design and manufacturing techniques are some of the best in the world and their line of pocket knives use stag and high grade stainless steel to great affect.

This four bladed lock back is a robust, classic hunting knife with all the qualities one would expect from an Italian manufacturer. The blade is Z50CD15 stainless steel which is easy to sharpen and will give a lifetime of use with care. The zip blade is perfectly suited to gutting even quite large game whist the saw will easily go through wood or bone. Plus at the end of your working day you can sit down and crack open a bottle of wine.

The handle is real deer horn with brass pins. It feels extremely comfortable and solid in the hand during use.

I am a gamekeeper up in Sutherland north scotland liked the size kinda inbetwwen . I have used the knife on 3 roe deer and 2 reds in the space of a fortnight and its not as sharp as it was due to blade hitting bones here and ther may have to touch the blade up a bit on a fine waterstone soon . Would make great camping tool aswell as for fisherman or ferreter worh a bash
