Maxpedition Monsoon Gearslinger 16L

I've had this Gearslinger since 2009 so it's coming up 9 years and I've dragged it all over the Middle East with me and I can assure its taken some knocks I'm home now and use it 2 times a week to go to my shooting club, unfortunately, the main buckle broken I was gutted as it kind of keeps the whole thing together I found the Hennie Haynes website and found out that they where the main Maxpedition suppliers in UK so I thought id send off a speculative email to see if it was repairable and they where very helpfull and had the very buckle I needed so hopefully ill get many more years out of this excellent back pack.

I was given this bag as a gift, and I'll be honest, I was dubious as to how the single strap thing would work, I'm a bit of a traditionalist. As it turned out, it is pretty much a perfect travel bag. There is plenty of room for your carry-on essentials, the pockets are easily accessable and it's much easier to slip on and off or even slide round so you can keep it on when sitting down if you need to, and you can. Once yo get to your destination, it's plenty big enough for a day sack, and is fine to carry a days worth of basics and water. Also, the pouch that is designated for a hydration bladder is ideal for a netbook or small laptop. An 11" Mac fits in easily. It's the usual Maxpedition bomb proof quality build, with materials, construction and attention to detail comparable with gear that costs three times as much.

Amazing service as always and another If you need a large pack then get a large. This is prefect for my EDC and a great 24-36hr pack, Outstand build, fit & Finnish, i could think of one or two improvements that could be made and ive done a little magnifications here n there but i would buy this pack again if i had to. very comfortable and limitless applications, my only regret is waiting so long to buy one. The uses of this pack would only be limited by your imagination.

Saw this gearslinger in 24 season 7,I managed to see the manufacterer logo sewn in the sling on the video,so I looked it up.Went & got one,the quality is second to non,you can tell it'll take years to wear it in, not to mention it'll last a lifetime.it has got alot of room & alot of zippers & compartments,easily comes off in one swift motion unlike two armed rucksacks you vertually need to be double jointed to take them off,if my wife allowed me I'd even by another one just as a spare.

good quality and well made but overall space is minimal,even with small amounts of gear the shape of the bag is poor no space at the top and very slim profile,when full the fitting is very awkuard overall poor with some good points.
