      Exceptional bag for hard use

      I bought this bag in August 2016 for my current work in West Africa. It is accepted as carry-on luggage on all the carriers I have used and will comfortably fit in overhead lockers. The two water bottle holders are a convenient way to save space in the main body of the bag and certainly in my location ensure that you have enough water for a day or two if you have to grab-and-go. The quality of stitching, design and materials are simply astounding. I've dragged this bag everywhere and it still looks (annoyingly) like new! The side pockets are well designed and unlike other bags I've used actually let you put items larger than an envelope on them! I've carried large bundles of local currency in them, leaving the main compartment free for clothing, laptops etc. Highly recommended.

      Get what you pay for

      Never thought I'd pay out this much for a bag but glad I did! After going through 3 patrol bags about £40 each over 6 years I figured it's worth it if it lasts me 30 years. The quality is immediately evident if you have never had anything from Maxpedition there is an immediate difference, this is so hard wearing even down to the quality of the zippers and you know you can stuff it full of kit and the stitching won't pop out. Although there's pockets and space for everything the molle system integrated on the top and sides makes this different from the rest. This has allowed me to customise pouches on top for quicker access. This is the best addition to my passenger seat yet!
