Maxpedition Multi Purpose Bag

So, need a replacement work bag, usually I use a back pack, but was finding packed meals were leaking due to being unable to stow flat and upright. I was looking for something which had separate compartments for IFAK, wallet, meds etc. I also needed it to be able to be shift specific, - warm kit, wet kit, space for laptop and accessories. This fit the bill perfectly. The only adjustments I made was cut off both the hook and loop tri pod holders, as already mentioned, they interfered with the large side pockets when opening/ closing, so cutting off and burning the ends solved this issue. I also replaced the pull tab para cord to red zip plus as easier to see against the black. On the whole, very pleased with the bag, yes, it’s expensive but being perfect for my need as a work bag, I’m willing to pay the money.

Received quick from the excellent service that HH is known for. The bag is of the upmost top quality. I agree with the other reviewer that the torch straps get in the way but that's just a slight side effect. I'm so pleased that I bought it and look for it being my grab bag when the zombie apocalypse arrives. It's sure to last longer than I will. Thanks HH for another flawless transaction.

I've been using my MPB as a daily work briefcase and weekend bag for two years. It has proved very tough, durable, flexible and I love it. As separate EDC I carry the Maxpedition EDC pocket organiser, and that fits perfectly into the larger of the end pouches. My issues with the design of the MPB are that the two hook and loop rings on the top can impede the opening of the side compartment if you're in a hurry, and if you use the shoulder strap all the time as I do, the attachments for the shoulder strap can also impede the opening of the end pouches. Finally, after two years, the padded cover on the shoulder strap has started to split, which is not what I would have expected.

After five years and nine months of trying to damage this bag, yesterday I finally pulled the knot of one of the zip cords loose! Take THAT Maxpedition!! I have used this as my daily bag/briefcase, weekend bag, and carry-on almost every day since I bought it. It has been around Saudi Arabia, East Africa, China, and north Wales. It's been dropped, thrown, walked over, kicked, driven over by a minibus, used as a chicken transporter, sat on by an obsese American, and as a sick-bag by my son. What a bag!

I bought this after seeing my mate Alan's bag, and it has not let me down. It protects my iPad, laptop, phone, camera etc... with plenty of space for chargers, cables, moisturisers, manicure pouch, eye gel, sewing kit, poetry books and other essentials. The smallest external pouch is the perfect fit for my aromatherapy oils! Even the shoulder pad is really comfy, I don't know how I managed without it.

After over three years of constant use, this bag is still in top condition. The sand here gets in everything and will wreck most normal nylon gear in a year, but the wear on this is hardly worth mentioning, if anything, it has worn the fabric on the back of the drivers seat and the front of the back seat where it sts in my Land Cruiser. Even the zips do a better than average job of keeping the sand out. Its Desert tough.

I am a police officer and use this daily as my kit bag. It is so good, the most hard wearing and well constructed bag I have owned. The material is very stiff so the bag stands up on its own when full and it has numerous pockets and pouches to swallow gear. The only thing it lacks is internal compression straps to keep clothing squashed down in the main compartment, apart from that a perfect bag for a multitude of uses.

As soon as I opened the packaging, I knew that this is the tough bag I have been looking for for years. It has not disappointed me. I generally use as a briefcase - it holds my laptop, files and all my bits and bobs with ease. It has also made a great weekend/carry-on bag, and it had taken of a lot physical abuse in its stride. I WANT to buy another one, but I know that it is so tough that it will be a long time before I have to even think about replacing it.
