Quite a nice little slicer/hacker. As the description suggests; you need to pad the handle out with paracord/tape to get a decent grip for proper work, but it's a well-made little cleaver for you to build on.
Bought as a gift so not used it but For the price you can't go wrong. A perfect camp chefs knife or kindling splitter. Arrived sharp and ready to use
Amazing little hatchet here sturdy with a 4-4.5 mm thick tang and reasonably sharp great for little jobs and possibly a edc for some .
I bought one of these for a friend and one for me. I wasn't expecting them to be razor sharp but the edges looked like they'd been roughly machined, they were dull and had a burr which for a hatchet that's close to a knife is disappointing. One was slightly rusty. BUT this is a fun little tool, once you sort the burr and give it a sharpen you can get a great edge with very little work (less than 5 minutes). I expect I'll have a lot of fun with this over the next few months and imagine it being a regular item in my pack. I would recommend this purchase.
