A bit of kit well worth having in an old school sort of way. A strong waterproof little stash can that is well handy for a few matches, a fishing line, button compass etc Had Them for years never let me down..
Suppose it will do what it’s meant to just a bit pricey for what it is .
A very compact and useful match safe for outdoorsman, for hiking, fishing and camping.
I liked the old school appeal of this item. This locks securely but is easy to open when required. The hanging loop makes it easy to carry on paracord loop around your neck, so always at hand.
I used to see metal match safes used by outdoors people as a kid but by the time I was getting my own kit together they were going out of use in favour of plastic ones. As soon as I saw this one it was getting bought and going in my kit. Glad I did, it's solid enough to take getting stepped on and there's a rubber seal inside so will do the job intended. It's already been in my pack on a couple of wet days with no issues.
Arrived today, usual great del/service from the team at H/H this is very nice, classic design & a nice size for pocket or pack. Very pleased with this item RECOMMENDED !!!!!
This is make from nickel plated brass rather than the stainless steel specified but will nevertheless last a lifetime. Worth every penny. I filled mine with strike anywhere matches which I tracked down at my local Home Bargains in the kitchen section. (The Original Cook's Matches)
