The MaxMadCo Design Utility Blade Knife is a titanium utility knife in its second iteration and limited edition. This second generation models has some key modifications that bring the concept to life in the modern age including three capture grooves for the floating slide bolt to nestle into for secure storage.

All components beside the blade are made in Grade 5 titanium. The main frame is wire EDM Cut (Electrically Discharged Machining) from a solid block of titanium. The blade free floats in place with a secure twist lock mechanism at any location on the slider.

I have a collection of utility knives and this is the latest addition. I like the finish, light weight and ease of changing blades. 4 stars because I'm not a fan of pocket clips but if you remove this one and replace the screws they foul the blade, either clamping it or stopping it fully retracting. The mechanism is clunky, you have to undo and then redo the screw every time you move the blade. Overall good but could be better.
