A Beast of a multitool
I did a lot of research before I bought this. It's my first Leatherman, though I have seen and handled Leathermans previously. I live on a boat and wanted something man enough for maintenance jobs, a good serrated blade for cutting thick line and in particular the awl, which is missing from the Wave Plus. This is no lightweight but it tucks nicely in a hand stitched pancake holster and you don't notice the weight. With some practice it can be opened one handed while you're hanging onto something else. I love the back oxide finish too. Al in all, very happy. Heinnie's first class service again, with the tool arriving the day after I ordered it.
