KMFS Sensei Freehand Sharpener

The KMFS Sensei is a different take on guided sharpening - one that gives you the control of a fixed system with the fluid feel of freehand work. Designed and manufactured in the Czech Republic, KMFS have built their reputation on precision engineering, and the Sensei is very much the flagship of that thinking.

At its core is a patented reverse kinematic system, maintaining a consistent angle across the entire edge without the usual compromises. The selectable angles (15°, 17.5°, 20°, 22.5°) are held with impressive accuracy, while the adjustable spring-loaded bar adapts seamlessly to varying blade heights and stone thicknesses. Dual magnetic clamping makes setup quick and secure, with rubberised faces to protect the blade.

A stainless steel base adds welcome stability, and the fully bearing-driven movement keeps everything smooth and controlled. It will take KMFS stones and most third-party options up to 225 mm, making it a flexible choice for those who take sharpening seriously.
