KA-BAR Lake Effect Ice Scraper

Very strong and robust scraper, which should for many years. Expensive for a lump of plastic though!

Ice scraper, fits nicely in the hand, can be used in left hand or right hand which is a bonus. The edge is suitable for most types of ice when suitable pressure is applied from either hand, thus lifting said ice from windscreen, can also be used on side windows and if necessary, the rear window thus enabling one to see before setting off on one’s journey. Excellent product.

Excellent hennie service as always. This bit of kit is Super strong , but if feed back sent to manufacturer , possible abit bigger and longer handle might work even better.

I was looking for a high quality ice scraper and I found it at Heinnie. This tool will far outlast cheaper scrappers, its a keeper.

Not actually been able to use this to clear the windscreen yet as it’s still autumn in the uk but the scraper is very sturdy and a perfect size. To address the “causes cancer” warning. As long as you don’t burn it and inhale the smoke or grind it up and eat it, you’ll be fine.

It gets 5 Stars for its longevity, and quality. I must have been using mine for about 5 years now and thus far it still looks like new. It has virtually no dents on the edge what so ever and I've used it on some pretty thick ice. It is made in the USA too so no cheap material or build quality, the thing feels quite sturdy and strong despite been so light. If I had to make one complaint it would be that for my large hands the handle is too small meaning I'm only using a thumb and 2 fingers so my hand fatigues more quickly. I think they would be well served to make a version with a fatter handle thats about 2 inches longer.

Given the previous reviews and accepting the bog-standard ice-scrapers from supermarkets are, basically, one-use jobs, I pulled the trigger on this Ka-Bar. Really chuffed that I did - it is rock-solid and slip-free. Recommended A1!

I'm sure it would work well but came with a health warning sticker "may cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm". Don't see how but threw it straight in the bin to be on the safe side.
